Author’s Note: first of my “damn, I need a break from marking exams” drabbles



“Ouch,” exclaimed Harry, rubbing at his neck. “What in Merlin’s name was that for?”

“Please forgive my… enthusiasm,” drawled Severus.

“You bit me!” Harry conjured a handheld mirror so he could examine the round, purplish mark already becoming visible on his pale skin.

“Technically, that was just sucking,” argued Severus. “Though the mark is called a love-bite, biting is not actually required.”

“It’s too hot to wear a polo neck tonight – how am I supposed to hide this?”

Severus smirked. “Perhaps I don’t want you to hide it.”

Harry paused, smiled, and decided to wear the open-collared shirt after all.

Hahahaha! Brilliant! I can absolutely see Snape marking Harry in this manner (not to mention using Incendio on any shirts that covered the mark.) ;D
