Neville crept into the bedroom, trying not to disturb Bill as he entered. He’d been much later at the Herbology Symposium than he’d expected, and it was now quite late. The sun was just starting to peek above the eastern horizon.
Luckily for Neville, Bill was out cold, and snoring softly into his pillow, a sure sign that he was unlikely to awaken when Neville joined him in their four-poster bed. He shucked his clothing, levitating it into the laundry hamper as he slipped under the quilt.
As he fell asleep, Bill’s arm snaked over his waist; he felt loved.
